- AUDRI SCOTT WILLIAMS, the visionkeeper for the Trail of Dreams World Peace Walk, is a woman who is dedicated upholding the ancient wisdom teachings of love, wisdom, compassion and forgiveness. She holds a Masters in Liberal Arts from Naropa University in Indigenous Science, a BA in Criminology with post graduate studies at Harvard University, University of Maryland and American University. She has traveled as a representative of the WorldWide Indigenous Science Network, a participant in Prometra International (an organization with a mission to preserve and promote traditional healing and medicine) programs in Benin and Kenya. Audri was formerly Dean of Instruction at the School for Spiritual Awakening at the Institute for Divine Wisdom, and for the past 16 years, the executive director of the Spirit of Truth Foundation.
She has received numerous honors and awards for her service to the community including: A Certificate of Merit from President Bill Clinton, HBO award: Hearing Her Voice, Telling Her Story, Volvo for Life American Heroes Award.
Audri continues to serve as an elder for the Beyond the Global Divide International Young Leaders Peace Summits 2002 to 2010 (a gathering of international elders, young leaders, and leaders in service for the purpose of healing and transforming the world in which we live).
She also organized the Trail of Dreams Ancestral Journey, a walk from Pennsylvania to Georgia, and in Ghana, West Africa in 2002. She is currently the visionkeeper for the Trail of Dreams World Peace Walk 2005-2009, a demonstration of ordinary people showing up to engage in a journey of the human spirit that will take them around the world in a three and a half years walk for world peace
In the midst of her many accomplishments, Audri believes the work of life is life. Her time at the feet of elders from East, West and South Africa, Polynesia, and Native America has taught her the value of paying attention to everything as a way of finding clarity of purpose. She walks with the authority of the modern-day shaman and bears the responsibility of bridging Earth Wisdom and the world.
